How to check a UK casino licence properly

Search the public register

Open the UK Gambling Commission business register and search the casino name, legal operator or exact domain. A legitimate result should identify the licensee rather than leave the reader with only a marketing brand.

• Record the business account number.
• Record the legal company name.
• Open the trading names and domain details.

STEP 02

Match the website to the operator

The footer name, register licensee and listed web domain should describe the same relationship. Similar brand names are not proof. If the domain is missing or points to another licensee, stop and investigate before depositing.
